Provincetown is mostly thought of as a bustling destination, Cape Cod's most popular if not fascinating little town. Narrow streets crammed with Chowder houses, bars and touristic shops.
I chose to seek out elements of the Province land's historic past hidden just out of plain site. This is a long timed exposure taken under an abandoned dock. An eerie, translucent light seems to illuminate the piers. If you take the time to explore, it appears as though one could wander indefinitely through a never ending forest of drenched wooden upright poles.
